Pick a pretty retro fabric and make a charming sundress and bolero with kimono to chase the chill away. This is a 1950's Retro remake of a sewing pattern originally published just after the end of WWII. The sundress has a strap that wraps from the side seam, around the neck, and back to the other side seam. The bodice has a brief bra-type front bodice with a midriff that joins the skirt at the normal waistline. The back bodice has backless shoulders with princess seams. The circular skirt fits loosely through the hip, and gradually gets fuller. The above waist bolero has edge binding all the way around except on the sleeve hems and has a front waistline bow. 2007 remake of a 1950s sewing pattern.
