We are pleased to offer publications from The Woman's Institute of Domestic Arts & Sciences (1914-1938). The Institute was established in Scranton, Pennsylvania, by Mary Brooks Pickens, an expert on fashion, dress, fabric, design, and sewing, and an accomplished author. These books have become icons of sewing and millinery history. They are in very good used condition unless otherwise described. These were used as textbooks, and a few of them have light, minor pencil marks or minor underlining. All books are original and vintage - no reproductions or electronic copies.
